Applications

    Home Applications

MaxDR®, with HDPE as its core pipe, is ideal for a wide range of applications where high-pressures, corrosion and abrasion are critical issues.

    Oil & Gas

MaxDR fusible composite poly pipe is ideal for upstream and midstream Oil & Gas applications. Our pipe was born in the oil & gas industry which led to many of it’s design attributes.

    • Produced water transport
    • Crude oil and NGL transport
    • Natural gas gathering
    • CO2 transport for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects

    Chemical, Industrial & Mining

MaxDR fusible composite poly pipe is ideal for a wide range of industrial and mining applications, particularly where corrosive or abrasive products are transported in pipe. High temperatures can also be accommodated using PE-RT as the core pipe. MDPE core pipe can be utilized in slurry applications.

    • Slurry transport
    • Chemical transport
    • Process water transport
    • Power plant water transport and handling
    • Geothermal power generation
    • Paper pulp mills

    Water & Wastewater

With growing acceptance of HDPE in utilities, MaxDR fusible composite poly pipe is ideal for water and wastewater utilities applications.

    • Municipal water mains and wastewater force mains
    • Industrial process water and wastewater handling and treating
    • High pressure fire loops

    Carbon Capture / Energy Transition

MaxDR fusible composite poly pipe is uniquely qualified for the burgeoning carbon dioxide (CO2) gathering, sequestration and utilization (CCUS) market. MaxDR is particularly beneficial where CO2 is saturated creating carbonic acid.

    • CO2 gathering
    • CO2 process and conversion
    • Enhanced oil recovery
