Composite Piping Technology (CPT) is pleased to announce its participation in the 6th Annual Oilfield Water Markets Conference, a premier event focused on produced water management, treatment, and infrastructure solutions. The conference will take place May 5-6, 2026, at the Irving Convention Center in Texas.

Let’s Connect at Oilfield Water Markets 2026!

B.G. Clark, President of CPT, will be onsite meeting with operators and industry partners interested in reducing pipeline project costs.

Meetings can be scheduled in advance – contact us to reserve time.

MaxDR®: Lower Cost HDPE Pipe for Fluid Transport

CPT’s groundbreaking MaxDR is the world’s first higher pressure, fusible, composite-reinforced HDPE pipe designed for a wide array of fluids, including produced water transport. MaxDR handles corrosive and higher-pressure produced water with exceptional long-term performance.

MaxDR® high-pressure, fusible, composite-reinforced HDPE pipe costs less than standard DR7.

MaxDR delivers cost savings three ways:

  1. Lower Material Costs. A thinner, composite reinforced wall means less polyethylene per foot of pipe. In a market where resin prices have risen quickly and significantly, less HDPE translates immediately into savings, especially on large-diameter projects (12”–24”).

  2. Faster Fusion = Lower Labor Costs. Time is money on any jobsite. MaxDR’s reduced wall thickness allows for:
    • Faster heat-up times
    • Shorter cooling cycles
    • Up to 50% faster fusion compared to DR7

That means more joints completed per day, smaller crew time requirements, and shorter project schedules.
  3. Reduced Equipment and Handling Costs. A MaxDR 350 joint weighs approximately half as much as a comparable ID DR7 poly pipe joint. Lighter pipe sections simplify logistics:
    • Easier loading and unloading
    • Reduced need for heavy lifting equipment
    • Improved crew efficiency and safety
