Composite Piping Technology to Showcase MaxDR® – Higher Pressure, Fusible Composite HDPE Pipe – at the Permian Basin International Oil Show 2025

By Steve Bagley | Uncategorized, Events, News | 0 comment | 25 September, 2025 | 0

Composite Piping Technology (CPT) is proud to announce its participation in the Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS), taking place October 21-23, 2025, at the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, Texas.

CPT’s groundbreaking MaxDR® is the world’s first higher pressure, fusible, composite-reinforced HDPE pipe designed for a wide array of fluids including oil, gas, and produced water systems. A joint of MaxDR is half the weight of the equivalent ID DR7 poly pipe due to a thinner wall strengthened by composite material, which means it uses less material. Unlike standard DR7, MaxDR maintains higher pressure performance while reducing the wall thickness of the pipe – making it lighter, easier to handle, and dramatically faster to fuse with standard fusing equipment.

B.G. Clark, President and Steve Bagley, Vice President of Operations, will be at the show on-site to meet with operators seeking ways to dramatically reduce water midstream installation time and cost substantially by cutting joint fusion times in half.

Contact us today to schedule a meeting with our team at PBIOS 2025 to learn how MaxDR can help you reduce produced water pipeline installation time and reduce costs.

About PBIOS

The Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS) describes itself as a three-day event where producers, service companies, investors, and pioneers gather to exchange ideas, forge connections, and create opportunities. Held biennially since the end of World War II, the oil show has evolved into a vital marketplace at the heart of the industry. With hundreds of exhibitors filling the Ector County Coliseum, this international gathering offers something for everyone – from executives and engineers to geologists and field operators.

More information is available on the PBIOS website.

About Composite Piping Technology

Composite Piping Technology LLC (CPT) is leading the revolution in composite piping through advanced technology and manufacturing methods.  Our patented design and manufacturing process converts traditional HDPE pipe to a higher operating pressure capacity while lowering the cost on an equivalent internal dimensional and operating pressure basis.

Our flagship product, MaxDR®, is the first large diameter fusible composite HDPE pipe with standard operating pressures of 350, 550 and 750 psi.  MaxDR delivers A Measurable Difference in Performance and Value™ due to its 2x to 3x higher pressure capabilities than conventional HDPE pipe while supporting lower capital expenses and shorter fuse times. MaxDR is designed for wide range of applications across Oil & Gas, Industrial & Mining, Water & Wastewater, and other industrial sectors.
