KILGORE, Texas — July 22, 2024 — We are thrilled to welcome Liz Abbott to Composite Piping Technology (CPT) as Vice President of Sales. With over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Liz has earned a reputation for her technical expertise, strategic insight, and ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs effectively. She brings the unique combination of an extensive engineering background coupled with proven business acumen, making her an important resource for CPT customers and a key member of our management team. In her new role, Liz will spearhead our sales strategy, drive market expansion, and cultivate customer relationships.

Prior to joining CPT, Liz was a sales professional with Ferguson Industrial, delivering pipe, valve, and fitting solutions to customers in oil and gas, water midstream, mining, and aerospace applications throughout the Permian Basin and beyond. Before that, she gained invaluable knowledge of oil, gas, and water operations through increasingly senior positions including Project Engineer with ExxonMobil/XTO Energy and Apache Corp., and Engineering Manager with Solaris Water Midstream.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Technology Management, both from the Colorado School of Mines.
