MaxDR fusible, composite HDPE pipe performs at a higher-pressure (350 – 750 psi) than conventional HDPE pipe. It delivers all the strength, durability, flexibility, and reliability required for heavy industrial operations. Using HDPE core pipe, MaxDR is built to withstand abrasive materials, corrosive chemicals, and higher-pressure systems.
With diameters from 12″ to 24″ MaxDR handles slurry, process water, or chemicals for reliable, safe, and efficient operations. MaxDR-SI and MaxDR-SI+ are designed for surface installations, addressing the challenges with terrain and temperature fluctuations.
MaxDR takes HDPE to where only fiberglass and steel have gone before, due to its higher operating pressure combined with corrosion and abrasion resistance. It is also easy to install using the same equipment and procedures as standard HDPE pipe. In addition to 50′ joint length, MaxDR can be made in 40′ lengths, facilitating transport in ocean containers for international deliveries.
Why MaxDR Pipe is Ideal for Chemical, Mining and Industrial Applications
Because MaxDR uses HDPE as its core pipe, it enjoys all the benefits of HDPE with the strength of composite. MaxDR’s robust design allows for surface installations with its HDPE protective cover, withstanding the tough environment that comes with these applications. In addition, it has a leak free joint that is assembled using industry standard equipment and procedures. With its composite design, it supports longer life through its abrasion resistance allowing for the walls to erode while still maintaining pressure capacity.
